Thought For Food Announces its Brave New Future as a Decentralized, Community-Led Movement!

Christine R. Gould, founder of ‘Thought for Food’ quoted: ‘We are thrilled to announce Thought For Food’s next evolution. After a decade of pioneering the most transformative approach to next-generation innovation for better food systems, Thought For Food is taking its next step. We are no longer incorporated as a 501c3 non-profit. We have decided to become a decentralized, volunteer-based movement of global food systems change-makers. This step ensures that TFF will continue to be an unstoppable force within the industry, driven by the collective power of our passionate community leaders’.

The Social Gastronomy Movement (SGM) is a growing global impact network of people and organizations using the power of food to transform individual lives, foster more inclusive communities, and create positive social change.

Social Gastronomy works to address social inequality, improve nutrition, and engage people to leverage their skills for social good.

Together we face the immense challenge of co-creating food systems that are good for all. With over 828 million people experiencing hunger and the convergence of COVID, climate emergency, conflict, and rising food costs, our solidarity, action, and collective efforts are more important than ever.

As an international movement, SGM is a global human-centered movement. By using food as a tool to connect people, enable dignified livelihoods, minimize social inequities, care for the planet, and learn with each other, we can generate a more equitable, inclusive, innovative, and caring society.

Join us in the efforts to make our societies more equitable and inclusive while also working toward ensuring a healthy future for our planet.
