Maison Ruinart with artist Liu Bolin at Art Basel

FOR THE 8TH CONSECUTIVE YEAR RUINART IS THE OFFICIAL CHAMPAGNE AT ART BASEL IN BASEL 2018. THIS YEAR, RUINART PRESENTED AN EXCEPTIONAL “INVISIBLE MAN” IN ITS LOUNGE IN THE COLLECTORS LOUNGE IN BASEL
Year after year, Champagne Ruinart expresses its commitment to art through participating in leading international art fairs and working with well-known artists who create their vision of the Champagne House.

This year, the Ruinart artist is Liu Bolin who practices revelation through camouflage, which always reveal its presence. For the Maison, he decided to magnify gestures of the workers and the know-how behind the creation of its Champagne. Ruinart’s relationship and commitment to contemporary art has led it to the new and fascinating images by Liu Bolin. The extraordinary expertise and devotion of Ruinart’s champagne house is showcased in the image of the artist camouflaged against each background.

The House of Ruinart laid the first foundation stone of the history of champagne. Elegance, refinement, purity, light and its emblematic grape variety of chardonnay form its DNA and make it a true timeless and modern icon. It draws the power of its creations from three centuries of history. The balance between its origins and its bold promises is the key to its success and makes it a House that is perpetually contemporary.
